So if the people leading social change are Social Entrepreneurs, who are the people who support, follow and help make these changes a reality? Cultural Creatives. What's a Cultural Creative? It is estimated that there are over 50 million adults in the United States and over 100 million adults in Europe who formally identify themselves as Cultural Creatives. However, the are many millions more throughout the world who, simply by making more positive consumer choices also fall into this category. Cultural Creatives are people who live and work by a code of values that stress equality and sustainability. There are no clubs to join or subscriptions but Cultural Creatives are helping to improve the world everyday by the consumer choices they make and the people that they influence. These ideals represented by, "Cultural Creatives" is captured in a book called "The Cultural Creatives: How 50 Million People Are Changing the World" (Harmony, 2000).
